A Bengaluru woman, Hitesha Chandranee on Wednesday alleged that she was assaulted by a Zomato delivery personnel.
Hitesha shared her ordeal on Twitter through a video message. She said that she was talking to Zomato’s customer care executive regarding her late order, when delivery personnel Kamraj, hit her and broke her nose.
Kamraj was taken into custody after Hitesha filed a complaint againt him with the police. However, Kamraj claims that he pushed her in self-defense. He said that she refused to accept the food and asked for a refund. When he told her that it wasn’t possible for him to refund her for her order, she attacked him verbally and also tried to hit him with her slipper.
