India’s daily COVID-19 cases surpassed the 1.5 lakh mark for second consecutive day on Sunday. Amid rising cases, the virus has now hit the Supreme Court in a big way.
On Saturday, 44 out of 90 Supreme Court staffer were diagnosed with COVID-19. As more than 50 per cent of its staff tested positive for coronavirus, the apex court has decided that all the judges will now function from home. The hearings will be heard via video conferencing.
The second-wave has hit India in a major way and our country is presently leading in the daily average number of cases.
