After a powerful earthquake jolted India, Pakistan and Tajikistan on Friday night, now an earthquake of magnitude 7.3 has shook Japan.

The epicenter of the earthquake was earthquake was 306 km northeast (NE) of Tokyo, Japan and it struck at 7: 37 IST at a depth of 60 km from the surface. No loss of life has been reported till now however, reports suggest that properties have been damaged in Miyagi and Fukushima.

Reportedly, the earthquake was centered 60 km below ocean surface and east of Etoofu Island. Latest update by Japan Meterological Agency suggests that Japan earthquake upgraded to magnitude 7.3 from prior M 7.1 off the coast of Fukushima prefecture and 12 aftershocks were felt.

No Tsunami warning has been issued by Japanese government, yet.
