Rhea Chakraborty, who went silent on social media, after she was accused by her late boyfriend Sushant Singh Rajput’s family of abetting his suicide, made her Instagram comeback today.
Rhea, who had last posted in August 2020, returned to social media on International Women’s Day. The actress dedicated her post to her mom as she returned to social media.
She shared a picture, which shows her holding her mom’s hand. She captioned the image as, “Happy Women’s Day to us.. Maa and me… together forever… my strength, my faith, my fortitude – my Maa.”
Rhea and her brother Showik were taken into custody by the Narcotics Control Bureau in 2020 following Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. Rhea, who was accused of procuring drugs for SSR, was released on bail after almost a month, and her brother was granted bail much later.
The NCB recently filed a 12000-page chargesheet in the drug probe related to Sushant Singh Rajput death case. The NCB has named Rhea and her brother in the chargesheet.
