The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has filed a 12000 page chargesheet in the drug probe related to Sushant Singh Rajput death case.

In the chargesheet, filed before a special court in Mumbai, the NCB has named Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik Chakraborty, Dipesh Sawant and Samuel Miranda among others. Reportedly, the document contains statements of more than 200 witnesses.

The NCB had arrested Rhea and her brother under various sections of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.  They were released on bail later. Eight out of the 33 accused are still in judicial custody.

Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his Mumbai apartment on June 14, 2020. In October 2020, the AIIMS medical board, which was set up to investigate the matter, ruled out murder.

The NCB started probing the case, after they got official information from Enforcement Directorate (ED) about various chats related to drug procurement, consumption, usage, and transportation. Rhea was arrested by the NCB for procuring drugs for her live-in boyfriend Sushant Singh Rajput.
