We had informed our readers a few days ago that Akshay Kumar will be flying to Ayodhya with team Ram Setu for the mahurat shot. The actor left for Ayodhya, this morning with his leading ladies, Nushrratt Bharuccha and Jacqueline Fernandez.
The trio was spotted at the airport as they left for Ayodhya to seek Lord Rama’s blessings for their ambitious project. Akshay looked dapper in his black shirt, while Jacqueline and Nushrratt looked ethereal in their white suits. The actors posed for the papz before jetting off to Uttar Pradesh.
Akshay shared a picture with Jacqueline and Nushrratt and captioned it, “A special film, a special start… Team #RamSetu off to Ayodhya for the mahurat shot. And so the journey begins. Need special wishes from all you guys.”
With COVID-19 cases on a rise, the makers have ensured strict protocols on the sets. Talking about it producer Vikram Malhotra had earlier stated, “For Ram Setu, there will be strict protocols in place, including travel and stay bio-bubbles, frequent health checks and a professional agency on-board to manage these protocols all through. Given the complexity of the story and ensuing locations, VFX etc, the production will be spread across multiple schedules over the next few months.”
Akshay Kumar had announced the film on Diwali last year and he is playing an architect in the much-anticipated movie. Ram Setu is being directed by Abhishek Sharma.
