Priyanka Chopra, Ranveer Singh Mourn Demise Of Rapper DMX

DMX had suffered a heart attack a few days ago.

Rapper and songwriter DMX passed away on Friday at New York’s White Plains Hospital. He was 50. Bollywood celebs Priyanka Chopra and Ranveer Singh paid tribute to DMX as news of his demise surfaced.

DMX was admitted to the hospital after he suffered a heart attack, last week. He was on life support system and breathed his last on Friday. His family released a statement confirming his demise.

The statement reads, “We are deeply saddened to announce today that our loved one, DMX, birth name of Earl Simmons, passed away at 50-years-old at White Plains Hospital with his family by his side after being placed on life support for the past few days. Earl was a warrior who fought till the very end. He loved his family with all of his heart and we cherish the times we spent with him.”

Priyanka Chopra mourned his demise writing, “He was one of my favourite artists growing up, and then to have had the opportunity to work with him was such a dream come true. Such a big loss for the music industry. #RIP DMX. Sending my thoughts and love to his family.”

Ranveer shared a picture of the wrapper on his Instagram story with a boken heart emoticon with his song Let Me Fly playing in the background.
