The central government has started a huge vaccination drive across the nation. Senior citizens above the age of 60 and people with co-morbidities, who are in the age group of 45-59 years can now opt to get vaccinated. Prime Minister Narendra Modi took his first dose of COVID-19 vaccine at AIIMS a few days and now, others are following his lead.
Hrithik Roshan’s parents, Rakesh Roshan and Pinkie Roshan also rolled up their sleeves today to take the vaccine shot. Rakesh Roshan shared a picture, in which a hospital staff is seen administrating the vaccine to him. Mr. Roshan looked pretty confident as he gave a thumbs up while receiving the vaccine and also urged others to do the same.
Along with the image, Rakesh Roshan wrote, “Unique day once in our lifetime 4321, 4th March 21 to get vaccinated GO AHEAD.” Pinkie Roshan also shared a picture of her taking the shot and captioned it as, “#covieshield vaccine taken #its better to shield than to expose.” Pinkie Roshan had tested positive for Coronavirus in October 2020 but was asymptomatic.
Megastar Kamal Haasan also took the first dose of vaccine a few days ago.
