The shoot of the Akshay Kumar‘s upcoming film Bell Bottom was completed in the peak of the pandemic and now, the makers of the movie have locked a release date for their spy thriller.
The espionage drama will hit the theaters on May 28, 2021. Directed by Ranjit M Tewari, the film also stars Vaani Kapoor, Lara Dutta and Huma Qureshi in key roles. Jackky Bhagnani, the producer of the movie, made the big announcement on Twitter today.
Set in the 80s, the film is based on true events and Akshay is playing a RAW agent in the film. Bell Bottom was shot extensively in the UK, amid heightened COVID-19 safety measures.
Bell Bottom is produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani and Deepshikha Deshmukh of Pooja Entertainment , in association with Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani and Nikhil Advani of Emmay Entertainment.
