The Delhi Police Special Cell has arrested Disha Raval, a 21-year-old climate activist from Bengaluru, in connection with the Greta Thunberg toolkit case.

Reportedly, Disha, who is a Bachelor of Business Administration graduate from Mount Carmel College, has been accused of disseminating the toolkit and also contributing written material for the controversial toolkit.

Disha was arrested from her home under the FIR filed by the cyber-crime unit of the Delhi Police on February 4 against the creators of the toolkit. The FIR was registered on charges of sedition, criminal conspiracy and promoting hatred among groups under Sections 124A, 120A and 153 A of the Indian Penal Code against the “creators” of a ‘toolkit’ on farmer protests, This is the first arrest in the case.

Thunberg had created a storm when she tweeted a toolkit guiding people on how to ‘support’ farmers’ protests. Though she deleted the tweet later, it’s said that she exposed how an organized overseas network is trying to instigate farmers protests in India.
