Several Bollywood movies got postponed because of the countrywide lockdown, which was imposed last year. Now that the government has allowed theaters to run in full capacity, filmmakers have been announcing release dates of their movies, one after the other. Grapevine has it that Rohit Shetty too has decided the release date of his Ranveer Singh starrer Cirkus.
Buzz has it that the film will hit the theaters on December 31, this year. The film also stars Pooja Hegde, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Varun Sharma in key roles. Set in the 60s, the comedy is based on William Shakespeare‘s The Comedy Of Errors, which had also inspired Gulzar‘s Angoor.
Ranveer will be seen in a double role in Cirkus, which is being produced by Bhushan Kumar. This will be Rohit And Ranveer’s second project together after Simmba and Sooryavanshi.
