South superstar Vijay Deverakonda will be next seen opposite Ananya Panday in Puri Jagannadh’s Liger. While rumours had it that the film will get an OTT release owing to the pandemic, Vijay has refuted the reports.
It was recently reported that the film will have an OTT release and that the makers have cracked a 200 crore deal for its digital release. However, Vijay Deverakonda dismissed the rumours with a cheeky tweet.
Taking potshots at rumour mongers, the Arjun Reddy star said that 200 crore is too little a sum for his money. He tweeted, “Too little. I’ll do more in the theaters.”
Liger has been shot in Telugu and Hindi and is being co-produced by Karan Johar and Puri Jagannadh. Vijay is playing the role of a kickboxer with a stutter in the movie. He will mark his Bollywood debut with Liger.
