Varun Dhawan Deletes Tweet After Getting Trolled For Being ‘Insensitive And Clueless’

Varun Dhawan recently got brutally trolled for sharing a ‘tone deaf’ post during the present COVID-19 situation in the country. The actor was criticized to the extent that he had to delete the post.

On Wednesday, Varun shared a fan made poster of himself. Varun Dhawan will turn a year older on April 24 and his fan had created it for his 34th birthday. The poster showed him playing a guitar and had ‘Happy Birthday’ and ‘Donate Plasma Save Life’ written on it.

As he shared the poster, Varun captioned it as, “Be safe guys.” As soon as he tweeted it, netizens trolled him for being insensitive and ‘clueless’. As criticism increased, Varun was forced to delete his tweet.

When a Twitter user wrote to him that he believed that he was ‘one of the sensible ones’, Varun replied to him writing, “Well it was to make someone happy who made the graphic and requested it but I guess this medium Shouldn’t be used for that right now.”

On the work front, Varun recently wrapped up the Arunachal Pradesh schedule of Bhediya, which also stars Kriti Sanon.
