The 67th National Film Awards were announced in New Delhi on Monday. Artistes and films were awarded for the year 2019.
The ceremony was supposed to be held in May, 2020 however, it got delayed because of the pandemic. Priyadarshan’s Malayalam film Marakkar: Lion of the Arabian Sea starring Mohanlal won the Best Feature Film Award. Chhichhore starring late Sushant Singh Rajput won the Best Hindi Film Award.
Kangana Ranaut won the Best Actress Award for Panga and Manikarnika, while the Best Actor Award is being shared by Manoj Bajpayee for Bhonsle and Dhanush for Asuran. The Best Director Award was bagged by Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan for Bahattar Hoorain.

Best Background Music: Prabuddha Banerjee for Jyeshthoputro (Bengali)
Best Make-up Artist: Ranjith for Helen (Malayalam)
Best Costumes: Sujith Sudhakaran and V. Sai for Marakkar: Lion of the Arabian Sea (Malayalam)
