The teaser of Sanjay Leela Bhansali‘s upcoming Alia Bhatt starrer Gangubai Kathiawadi has created quite a buzz. While rumour mills were rife with reports that Ajay Devgn too will be a part of the movie, it has now been confirmed. Ajay Devgn will join team Gangubai from tomorrow.
A huge set has been created in Mumbai and Ajay will start shooting from Saturday. Ajay is playing an important role in the movie and this will be his first film with Alia Bhatt. Buzz has it that Ajay will essay the role of dreaded mafia don Karim Lala in the biographical drama. However, neither the actor nor the makers have confirmed the reports, yet.
Ajay had worked with SLB in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and this film will mark his reunion with the celebrated filmmaker after 22 years.
Produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Dr. Jayantilal Gada (Pen Studios), Gangubai Kathiawadi is all set to hit the theaters on July 30.
