The day began with a shocking and rather sad news. Actor Mandira Bedi‘s husband Raj Kaushal has passed away.
Raj Kaushal left for his heavenly abode in the wee hours of Wednesday at his Mumbai residence. He suffered a massive cardiac arrest and died at his home at 4.30 am, before his family could get medical assistance.
Filmmaker Onir confirmed his demise writing, “Gone too soon. We lost Film maker and Producer @rajkaushal1 this morning. Very Sad. He was one of the producers of my first film #MyBrotherNikhil. One of those few who believed in our vision and supported us. Prayers for his soul.”
Raj has directed three films – Pyaar Mein Kabhie Kabhie, Shaadi Ka Ladoo and Anthony Kaun Hai and several ad films in his career. He is survived by his wife Mandira Bedi and kids Veer and Tara.
