Filmmaker-writer Karan Razdan is all set to make a new film titled Hindutva and it was launched by Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat at his official residence in Dehradun.
Present at the event were Daler Mehndi and the lead actors of the movie- Ashish Sharma, Sonarika Bhadoria, Ankit Raj, Anup Jalota and Deepika Chikhalia. Razdan revealed that the film revolves around childhood friendship, features a love triangle and also touches upon youth politics. Also present at the event was KS Chauhan, Deputy Director and Nodal Officer, Uttarakhand Information Department & Uttarakhand Film Development Council.
After giving the mahurat shot of the movie, CM Trivendra Singh Rawat said that though Hindutva is often mistaken as a Semitic religion, it’s full of love and is so benevolent that it accepts everybody. He further added that Hindutva also adapts itself with changing times and that’s its beauty. He congratulated the film’s team and hoped that it would help in spreading the true meaning of Hindutva.
While interacting with the media, director Karan Razdan said, “After studying and meditating a lot what I have realized is that nothing is bigger than love in this world and only love can lead you to God. My film is a mixture of love and goodwill.”
The film will be shot extensively in the beautiful locales of Uttarakhand.
