The second wave of COVID-19 has hit India and with each passing day, the number of cases are increasing across the nation. Many Bollywood celebs too have been tested positive. Now, Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar too have contracted the virus.
Both Vicky and Bhumi Pednkekar were working together on Shashank Khaitan’s movie Mr. Lele. Soon after Bhumi shared the update with her fans, Vicky too revealed that he has also tested positive.
Bhumi Pednekar wrote, “Please don’t take the current situation lightly, even though I followed utmost precaution and care, I have contracted it. Wear a mask, keep washing your hands, maintain social distancing and be mindful of your general behavior.” She also said that she is taking steam and Vitamin C and trying to maintain a ‘happy mood’ to beat the virus.
Vicky Kaushal confirmed the reports writing, “Inspite of all care and precautions, unfortunately, I have tested positive for COVID-19. Following all essential protocols, I am under home quarantine, taking medication as prescribed by my doctor. I request all those who came in contact with me to immediately get tested. Take care and stay safe.”
A day ago, Akshay Kumar too was tested positive for COVID-19.
