A brawl at a mall in New Delhi recently got some unwanted attention to actor Ajay Devgn. The superstar made headlines for allegedly being beaten up during a brawl in the national capital. However, it seems it was a case of mistaken identity.
Ajay rubbished the reports writing, “Some ‘doppelgänger’ of mine seems to have got into trouble. I’ve been getting concerned calls. Just clarifying, I’ve not traveled anywhere. All reports regarding me being in any brawl are baseless. Happy Holi.”
His team also clarified that Ajay has not been to Delhi in the past 14 months and that the reports were baseless. His team released a statement, which reads, “Media reports of a brawl involving Ajay Devgn outside a Delhi pub are absolutely baseless and untrue. We request news agencies and media picking this up to please note that Mr Devgn has been in Mumbai the entire time shooting for Maidaan, MayDay & Gangubai Kathiawadu and he hasn’t set foot in the Capital in 14 months, and moreover the actor is known for his responsible decorum and social etiquette, establishing this video as fake. Request all media to please cross check before putting out anything.” Meanwhile, the two persons involved in the brawl have been identified.
On the work front, Ajay will be next seen in Sooryavanshi, Maidaan and May Day. He also has a special appearance in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming Alia Bhatt starrer Gangubai Kathiawadi.
